Felix Magath: 'We must beat Norwich City'

Felix Magath warns his Fulham players that their last-gasp win over Aston Villa will count for nothing unless they beat Norwich City today.

Felix Magath has warned his Fulham players that their last-gasp win over Aston Villa will count for nothing unless they beat Norwich City today.

Hugo Rodallega struck an 86th-minute winner as the Cottagers moved off the bottom of the Premier League table with a 2-1 victory at Villa Park last weekend.

However, the West Londoners remain five points adrift of survival, and Magath wants his troops to build on their win over the Villans last time out for the visit of fellow strugglers Norwich.

"At the time all the people were telling me, 'we have 12 games left and we have a good schedule'," he told reporters

"They saw the possibility but they didn't realise that first you have to make points to have a chance [of staying up] at the end.

"Now everybody knows we have to win at the weekend. It was an important win last week at Aston Villa but if we don't win on Saturday it was for nothing."

This afternoon's six-pointer at Craven Cottage is scheduled to kick off at 3.07pm.
