Sami Khedira injured in warm-up, Christoph Kramer comes in for Germany

Sami Khedira is forced out of Germany's XI for the World Cup final against Argentina after picking up a calf injury in the warm-up.

Sami Khedira was forced out of Germany's XI for tonight's World Cup final against Argentina after picking up a calf injury in the warm-up.

The Real Madrid midfielder had been selected in a midfield three for the European outfit, but was a late withdrawal after suffering a problem some 15 minutes before kickoff.

As a result, Christoph Kramer has come into the team for his first competitive start for his country.

Germany are bidding to become the first European team to win the World Cup on South American soil.

The score is still goalless after 12 minutes.
