Getafe boss Cosmin Contra has revealed that he is considering selecting Pedro Leon for the Copa del Rey clash against Eibar in December.
Leon is currently ineligible to represent Getafe in the league after the club chose not to register the Spaniard at the start of the season.
As it stands, however, Leon can represent El Geta in the Copa del Rey and Contra has claimed that he will review the midfielder's state of mind before making a final decision.
"If Pedro Leon is in the right state to play, then he will. I'm tired of the topic because it's become non-related to football," Inside Spanish Football quotes Contra as saying.
"If I am provided with him in a sporting sense, then he is another member of my squad like anyone else."
Had Leon been registered at the start of the season, Getafe would have breached the salary cap imposed by the LFP.
