Non-league star Damian Reeves turned down the opportunity of Scottish Premier League football with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, according to a report.
The Altrincham forward, who was the top scorer in Britain last season with 44 goals, is said to have rejected the switch on transfer deadline day.
"We are not just happy, we are delighted that Damian took the decision to stay," Altrincham club secretary Derek Wilshaw told Sky Sports News.
Reeves has found the net more than 20 times this season, helping Altrincham mount a promotion push in the Conference North.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle have not commented on the report.
