Italy will secure a place in the semi-finals of the European Under-21 Championship if they beat hosts Israel on Saturday.
The Italians began the competition in winning fashion on Wednesday evening, as Lorenzo Insigne's free kick gave them a 1-0 success over England.
Israel were held to a 2-2 draw by Norway in their opening match thanks to an injury-time goal from Harmeet Singh.
The match will be the third time that the two nations have met at this level. The first ended in a goalless draw, while Italy won the last encounter 3-1 in October 2008.
Fabio Borini and Ciro Immobile are expected to retain their places up front for Italy, although Mattia Destro is pushing for a starting place.
Alon Turgeman, who came off the bench to score Israel's second goal against Norway, could replace Or Baroch in attack.
