Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba will start on the substitutes' bench for the second successive game after coach Sabri Lamouchi opted to select Wilfried Bony in attack.
Drogba was thought to have a realistic chance of replacing the Swansea City man after helping his team fight back to defeat Japan on Saturday evening, but the veteran has been restricted to a place on the bench.
The one change that Lamouchi has made sees Max Gradel brought in to replace former Chelsea winger Salomon Kalou.
Colombia start with the same lineup that began their 3-0 victory over Greece, with skipper Mario Yepes making his 100th appearance for his country.
