Saturday's Serie A predictions including Roma vs. Napoli

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Roma vs. Napoli.

Frosinone vs. Juventus (Saturday, 11.30am)

After pulling off an incredible cup upset in midweek, Frosinone will continue their Serie A campaign on Saturday, when they play host to Juventus at Stadio Stirpe.

While the Canarini toppled Napoli to reach the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, they now face a rejuvenated Juve side in contention for the title.

We say: Frosinone 0-1 Juventus

After both clubs veered from the script last time out, it will be business as usual for 1-0 specialists Juventus, who will have to withstand the threat of several young players developed in their Under-23 side. Frosinone may have borrowed some talented kids, but Juve's hard-bitten nous should secure them three more points in the Scudetto race.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Bologna vs. Atalanta (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Round 17 in Serie A sees Bologna host Atalanta BC at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on Saturday.

Thiago Motta's men have had an excellent week in the league and cup, and they seek another top result against an in-form La Dea in Emilia-Romagna.

We say: Bologna 2-1 Atalanta BC

Saturday's result could swing either way, but Bologna ought to claim their third impressive triumph inside six days with a marginal victory over Atalanta.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Torino vs. Udinese (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Torino welcome Udinese to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Saturday, keen to record success in their penultimate Serie A fixture in 2023.

The gameweek 17 encounter sees the Turin outfit aim to prolong their ongoing undefeated run, while their relegation-threatened visitors look to end an extended run without winning.

We say: Torino 1-1 Udinese

Despite Udinese's struggles for wins, this season's defeats have come against Juventus, Fiorentina, Napoli, Roma and Inter, pointing to another draw for the Little Zebras at Torino this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Hellas Verona vs. Cagliari (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Two teams in need of a boost will lock horns in Serie A on Saturday evening, with Hellas Verona welcoming Cagliari to Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi.

Verona have only picked up 11 points from their opening 16 matches of the 2023-24 campaign, which has left them down in 19th position in the table ahead of the next set of fixtures in Italy's top flight, while Cagliari are 16th, collecting 13 points from their first 16 games.

We say: Hellas Verona 1-1 Cagliari

There is not a huge difference between these two sides when it comes to quality, and we are expecting a close match on Saturday. Cagliari have been poor on their travels, but Verona have won just once in Serie A at home this season, so we have had to settle on a low-scoring draw here.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Inter Milan vs. Lecce (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Serie A leaders Inter Milan look to continue their impressive league run when they welcome Lecce to San Siro in their penultimate game of the year.

Simone Inzaghi's side were stunned in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday night, but they deserved more on the balance of play against Bologna and seek to bounce back in gameweek 17.

We say: Inter Milan 3-1 Lecce

Despite Lecce's scoring run on their travels and Martinez's potential absence for Inter, the Nerazzurri should secure a comfortable triumph on home turf in this year's final game at San Siro.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Roma vs. Napoli (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Both beaten in their most recent outing, ailing giants Roma and Napoli clash at Stadio Olimpico in Serie A's Saturday night showdown.

Ahead of the latest Derby del Sole, the two southern sides are separated by just two points in the standings - with both trailing behind Italy's top four.

We say: Roma 1-0 Napoli

Roma can heap more misery on stuttering Napoli by edging a tight contest and leapfrogging their southern rivals in the Serie A standings. Although the Scudetto holders have produced consistent results on the road, their hosts have the knack of grinding out gritty wins at Stadio Olimpico.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
