Stephan Lichtsteiner extends Juventus deal

Stephan Lichtsteiner commits his future to Italian champions Juventus by agreeing to terms on a two-year contract extension.

Stephan Lichtsteiner has ended speculation surrounding his future by signing a contract extension with Juventus.

The 30-year-old's previous deal had been due to expire at the end of the season, which had resulted in reports linking him with a move away from his Turin-based employers.

However, Lichtsteiner has now committed himself to Juve, where he will spend the next two years, with the options of a further 12 months.

The right-back joined the Old Lady from Lazio in 2011 and he has gone on to feature in three Serie A title-winning teams.
