Ruud van Nistelrooy hails Jamie Vardy achievement

Ruud van Nistelrooy hails the achievement of Jamie Vardy, who broke his Premier League record as the Leicester City forward found the net for the 11th game in a row.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has congratulated Jamie Vardy on breaking his Premier League record for scoring in successive matches.

The Leicester City striker found the net for the 11th match in a row when he fired the Foxes in front against Manchester United at the King Power Stadium, taking sole possession of the record after equalling the Dutchman's feat last week.

Well done @vardy7! You're number one now and you deserved it. #11inarow.
