Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland has warned Liverpool that his side are "fearless" ahead of their Champions League trip to Anfield next week.
Salzburg stormed to the top of Group E with a resounding 6-2 victory over Genk in their opener earlier this month, with 19-year-old Haaland the star of the show with a hat-trick on his Champions League debut.
The youngster has already scored four hat-tricks this season and has subsequently been linked to a host of Europe's top teams, and he insists that he is not intimidated by the prospect of going to the home of the defending champions or coming up against UEFA Defender of the Year Virgil van Dijk.
"We're fearless. We're not afraid of anything, and we always want to attack and score. When you have hungry players around you, it's easy to play with them, as they want the same as you. We want to score all the time and achieve something," Haaland told Salzburg's official website.
"It'll be a tough game at Anfield, but they're only human, like us, so nothing is impossible. We have to be honest and say, 'Liverpool are the world's best team, as they won the Champions League,' but Napoli are also very good and we beat them at home last year. I've never been to Anfield, but I think it is maybe one of the best atmospheres in the world and I look forward to playing there.
"I don't think you can train to play against [Van Dijk], but you can train on things that can maybe trick him or maybe set him out of position. We all have to be at our best, every player, to have a chance against this team."
Haaland has scored 17 goals in 10 appearances across all competitions so far this season, as well as registering four assists.
