Jamie Carragher had admitted that he is relieved to see Liverpool come through Sunday's FA Cup tie at Mansfield Town with a win.
The Reds saw off their non-league opponents 2-1 at Field Mill to book their place in the fourth round of the competition.
"We are delighted we put it to bed, but this is what the FA Cup is about and it may have been nervy for Liverpool fans but everyone is pleased at the end," Carragher told ESPN.
"It was going to be a difficult game. [Mansfield] were brilliant and their support was brilliant."
Liverpool will make the trip to League One side Oldham Athletic in the next round.
