Fit-again Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has expressed his delight at returning to first-team action in the 2-0 win over West Ham United.
The England international marked his comeback from a five-month absence through injury by netting the Reds' second goal at Anfield this afternoon.
"It feels great, but it's a team game and I'm happy the team won," he told Sky Sports News.
"It's just good to be back. I'm just happy to be out there playing and I'm grateful to God that I've been able to do that."
Raheem Sterling opened the scoring on Merseyside as Brendan Rodgers's side climbed above the Hammers into seventh in the table, four points behind the Champions League places.
