Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk has stepped up his recovery from a serious knee injury, with the Netherlands international detailing his progress via his Instagram account on Saturday.
The Dutchman has been on the sidelines since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury during a challenge with Everton's Jordan Pickford in the Merseyside derby last October
Van Dijk underwent surgery to correct the issue, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp conceded at the start of February that the centre-back is unlikely to play again before the end of the season.
The 29-year-old has taken another a huge step in the right direction, though, with a video captured on his Instagram account showing him back running at the club's training ground on Saturday afternoon.
Van Dijk said that he was "floating over the grass" during the solo session at the AXA Training Centre.
The former Southampton defender has made 130 outings for Klopp's side since arriving in January 2018, playing a key role in their recent Champions League and Premier League successes.
