Liverpool forward Fabio Borini's agent Marco de Marchi has suggested that the Italian made the wrong move in his career by leaving Roma for Liverpool.
The 22-year-old, who has been plagued by injuries during his time in England, made just 20 appearances for the Reds last season following his switch from Roma to Anfield.
"I think Fabio would have been the ideal player for [Zdenek] Zeman (Roma's former coach) last year, but the decision was made to leave Roma," De Marchi told Radio Mana Mana.
"Of course, it all happened very quickly and there was no chance to talk with the coach, but having said that, I still think Roma would have been the right team for Fabio."
Borini is currently on loan for the season at Sunderland.
