Jurgen Klopp laughs off "crazy" Premier League title suggestions

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp laughs off the "crazy" idea that the Reds will now challenge for the Premier League title after beating Chelsea 3-1.

Jurgen Klopp has dismissed the "crazy" notion that Liverpool's 3-1 win at Chelsea on Saturday could prove to be the foundations of a Premier League title bid this season.

The German picked up his first league victory since replacing Brendan Rodgers 23 days ago, with a brace from Philippe Coutinho and another from Christian Benteke helping the Reds come from behind at Stamford Bridge.

Klopp's side moved seventh in the table, but stay eight points behind co-leaders Manchester City and Arsenal, and the 48-year-old is not entertaining the idea that a title challenge lies ahead.

"Are you crazy? You think after one win at Chelsea we should think about this? I've been here three weeks, round about," he is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

"We don't think about this. We have to think about the next game, about improving our game and our style. We can do much better than today."

Klopp, who won two Bundesliga titles in seven years with Borussia Dortmund, will now plan for next Sunday's visit of Crystal Palace to Anfield.
