Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina has revealed that he is "proud" of his career with Spain, despite a lack of football for his national team.
Despite being regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe, Reina has made just 29 appearances for Spain due to the form and standing of Real Madrid's Iker Casillas and Barcelona's Victor Valdes.
"It is a real privilege to play for Spain and it means I have been with the national team for a long time now," he told Marca.
"I'm proud to have been an active member of this team and, of course, of the three titles. It's a great honour just to be called up."
Reina is currently on loan at Napoli from Liverpool.
