Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has handed a surprise start to 20-year-old centre-back Japhet Tanganga for this afternoon's Premier League clash with leaders Liverpool.
The youngster has made just one EFL Cup appearance for the senior side so far but is thrown in from the start for his top-flight debut against a Liverpool side that has dropped only two points all season.
Mourinho also welcomes Danny Rose back from injury in what looks like a 3-5-2 formation, with Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura leading the line in the injured Harry Kane's absence.
The inclusions of Tanganga and Rose are two of three changes made to the team which drew 1-1 with Middlesbrough in the FA Cup last weekend, with Davinson Sanchez also replacing Jan Vertonghen.
Liverpool, meanwhile, welcome all of their big names back into the starting lineup after making 10 changes for their FA Cup triumph over Everton last time out.
Newly-crowned African Player of the Year Sadio Mane starts alongside Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino in the front three, while Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson are among the other first-teamers to return.
New signing Takumi Minamino could make his Premier League debut having been named on the bench, while Xherdan Shaqiri is also among the subs having recovered from injury.
