Aston Villa striker Darren Bent has reportedly requested talks with manager Paul Lambert over his future at the club.
The 28-year-old has failed to cement a regular starting place in the side since Lambert took over at Villa Park in the summer, with new forward Christian Benteke as the preferred striker.
It is understood that Bent is keen to speak to the former Norwich City boss and will come to a decision regarding his potential search for a new club, according to Goal.com.
Reports have claimed that Bent's former team Sunderland could be interested in the forward, while Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are also thought to be possible destinations.
