Liverpool's Sergi Canos: 'I want to stay at Brentford'

Liverpool winger Sergi Canos says that he hopes to extend his loan deal at Championship club Brentford.

Liverpool winger Sergi Canos has said that he hopes to stay at Brentford until the end of the season.

The Spaniard has made 11 appearances for the Bees since joining the club on loan in the summer.

"I don't know what I'm going to do but I want to stay here," Canos told Sky Sports News.

"I want to keep playing in the Championship and hopefully at Brentford. For me this opportunity is amazing. I'm growing a lot as a player so I want to stay."

The 18-year-old scored his first goal for the Championship club in last week's 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest.
