Liverpool 'confident Luis Suarez will stay at Anfield'

Liverpool are reportedly confident that Luis Suarez will stay at Anfield, despite reports that Real Madrid will launch a summer bid for the striker.

Liverpool reportedly have no concerns that Luis Suarez will leave Anfield this summer amid speculation that Real Madrid are planning a summer swoop.

The prolific Uruguayan has been constantly linked with the Spanish giants over the last few transfer windows.

Reports have claimed that Real president Florentino Perez will sanction a big-money move for Suarez should manager Carlo Ancelotti want him.

However, according to The Times, Liverpool are confident that Suarez is committed to the Merseyside outfit after signing a new long-term contract in December.

The former Ajax star scored 31 Premier League goals last season.
