Saudi Pro League clubs are reportedly considering summer moves for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker and Manchester City shot-stopper Ederson.

Saudi Arabian clubs have reportedly drawn up ambitious plans to sign Liverpool's Alisson Becker and Manchester City's Ederson.

The Saudi Pro League spent £767m in last summer's transfer window in a bid to recruit some of football's biggest names.

There were several players who swapped the Premier League for Saudi Arabia, including Aymeric Laporte, Fabinho, Ruben Neves, Riyad Mahrez, and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

They also recruited from other European leagues, signing the likes of Neymar, Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Seko Fofana and Gabri Veiga.

Although they are not expected to reach the heights of last year's spending, the Saudi Pro League are still keen to complete more high-profile signings as they look to become one of the biggest leagues in the world.

Saudi Arabia targeting Alisson, Ederson moves

A recent report claimed that Al-Nassr had stepped up their efforts to reunite Casemiro with his former Real Madrid and Man United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to The Telegraph, the Saudi Pro League are also showing an interest in Casemiro's compatriots Alisson and Ederson.

The report claims that potential moves for the two Brazilian goalkeepers are being discussed ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, it could prove difficult to prise either Alisson or Ederson away from the Premier League, with both players still regarded as the first-choice shot-stoppers for their respective clubs.

Despite missing a number of games through injury, Alisson has made 27 Premier League appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side this season.

Meanwhile, Ederson has featured in 32 top-flight matches this term and is hoping to clinch his sixth Premier League title.

Alisson is under contract until the summer of 2027, while his Brazilian teammate has two years left to run on his Man City deal.

Saudi Arabia considering other targets

Saudi Pro League clubs are also believed to have significant interest in Man United's captain Bruno Fernandes, who has been linked with a move away this summer.

Liverpool are bracing themselves for further bids for Mohammed Salah after rejecting a £150m offer from Al-Ittihad last summer.

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is said to be another target for the Saudi Pro League, with the Belgian set to enter the final year of his contract.

Premier League clubs are seemingly open to the prospect of selling players to Saudi Arabia due to the significant fees involved, which could help teams meet Profit and Sustainability Rules.
