Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing up Liverpool striker Divock Origi as a possible short-term replacement for Harry Kane.
The Lilywhites will be without their leading goalscorer until early March after it was confirmed that Kane suffered ankle ligament damage in the defeat to Manchester United.
According to The Telegraph, Mauricio Pochettino has £50m to spend on potential replacements and the search for a new striker is already underway.
Spurs currently only have Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen on their books, but Pochettino is said to be after an upgrade in the January window to provide competition when Kane returns to action.
Liverpool's Origi, who has 18 months to run on his existing deal, is believed to be an option, as is West Bromwich Albion ace Jay Rodriguez.
Even if a new striker is brought in, however, it is claimed that Llorente will not be allowed to leave until the end of the season.
