Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc looking forward to Manchester City test

Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc says that his team will "carefully study" Manchester City ahead of their quarter-final clash in the Champions League.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has branded Manchester City "a very good club" with "a very good team".

The French champions were paired with Man City in the quarter-final stage of the Champions League on Friday and will welcome the English club to Paris for the first leg on April 6.

Blanc has said that his team will "carefully study" Man City as they prepare to take on English opposition once again.

"Destiny has given us Manchester City, which is of course a very good club, a very good team with a good coach. At this stage of the competition, there are only good teams. So, we respect a lot this team," Blanc told PSG TV.

"We will carefully study them, even if we already watched them a lot on TV. It will be a great confrontation because I think Manchester City has a style, a philosophy of play. [They] play beautiful football. I think it will be two good matches."

PSG beat Chelsea 4-2 on aggregate in the last round.
