Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Everton

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League match against Everton.

Shakhtar Donetsk and Watford have been on the receiving end of Manchester City's post-defeat rage following Pep Guardiola's side's slip-up at Norwich City a fortnight ago.

The 8-0 demolition of Watford was particularly brutal and that is the intensity that Guardiola will be demanding from his players after they let their guard down at Carrow Road.

On Saturday City face a struggling Everton side that has lost three of their last four Premier League matches despite continued substantial investment in improving the playing squad.

This fixture was a peculiar one last season, as Everton supporters almost didn't mind losing as they were so desperate for City to beat their rivals Liverpool to the title. There will be none of that sentiment this time, however, with Marco Silva under pressure to improve results at Goodison.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's match.

It has been a nightmare start to the season for John Stones with injury issues and form limiting his influence at City. The England defender's latest injury was a muscular strain sustained in training.
