Roberto Mancini says that his Manchester City players are not doing enough to match their form of last season.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has said that his players must improve if they want to defend their Premier League title.

The Citizens made an early exit from the Champions League for the second year running, having failed to win a single game in the group stage.

They ended their campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund, meaning that they also missed out on Europa League qualification.

Despite underperforming in Europe, the Italian coach has insisted that he is not worried about his future at the Etihad Stadium.

"I don't feel any pressure," Mancini told The Sun.

"I'm disappointed because we went out of the Champions League and I'm disappointed for the club because they deserve to go through and for our players, who deserve to play on that stage.

"It's clear the season isn't finished. We have the Premier League and FA Cup to go for, but we must work more now. What we're doing is not enough."

City are currently second in the table.
