Cukaricki teenager Slobodan Tedic will join Manchester City in the January transfer window, according to the Serbian club's director of football Nenad Mirosavljevic.
The 19-year-old, who is a Serbia Under-21 international, has scored four goals in nine appearances for Cukaricki this season.
Mirosavljevic has claimed that City have been scouting the teenager "for a long time" but it did not take long for the two clubs to agree a deal for the striker.
"He's been on City's radar for a long time with scouts often coming to see him," the Manchester Evening News quotes Mirosavljevic as saying.
"There have been games where we didn't even know they were in the stands. They watched all of his games, his every move, which is quite normal for the world's biggest clubs.
"When they officially contacted us, we easily and quickly agreed. This is a confirmation of our good work, but also the best possible marketing for Cukaricki, and for Serbian football in general."
Reports in Serbia have claimed that City will pay £2.7m to land the youngster in January 2020, although he could allegedly remain with Cukaricki for the rest of the season.
