Real Madrid have reportedly taken an interest in signing Manchester City youngster Liam Delap.
The 18-year-old has been provided with three outings in the senior squad this season, scoring on his debut in an EFL Cup tie against Bournemouth.
Despite the news that Sergio Aguero will leave the Etihad Stadium in the summer, Delap will remain behind the Argentine's replacement in the pecking order.
According to the Daily Star, Real Madrid have been impressed with the teenager's development, making the Englishman a potential transfer target.
Providing that they can reduce their wage bill, Los Blancos may bring in a new third-choice striker during the next transfer window, a scenario which seemingly puts Delap in the frame for a move to the Bernabeu.
The England Under-18s international has a contract until the end of 2022-23.
