Real Madrid are reportedly keeping tabs on Raheem Sterling's situation at Manchester City with a view to a possible summer move for the winger.
Sterling has enjoyed the best form of his career so far this season, scoring 20 goals across all competitions and creating 10 more in 36 appearances.
However, the 23-year-old's long-term future at the club has come into question following reports that City are yet to open up talks over an extension to his current contract.
Sterling's deal at the Etihad Stadium does not expire until the summer of 2020, but The Mirror reports that he has been offered no indication as to when negotiations over a new one will begin.
That has reportedly alerted Real Madrid, who are understood to be planning a mass overhaul of their squad this summer following a poor season on the domestic front.
The report goes on to state that it would take a bid of at least £70m to prise Sterling away from City, but Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is understood to be an admirer of the England international.
