Report: Sergio Aguero keen on Barcelona move

A report in Spain claims that Sergio Aguero is keen to join his international teammate Lionel Messi at Barcelona.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will reportedly try to force through a move to Barcelona during the next two transfer windows.

The 25-year-old is said to have long had an ambition to represent the La Liga champions, with the potential of forming an attacking partnership with his fellow Argentine Lionel Messi believed to be a key factor.

Previous attempts, particularly during Aguero's time with Atletico Madrid, to secure the move failed, but the centre-forward is now desperate to move to Camp Nou, according to Spanish publication Sport.

The report added that his agent, Hernan Reguera, has already held discussions with officials from Barca and that personal terms have been agreed.

Aguero joined City from Atletico in the summer of 2011.
