AS Roma are hoping to sign Manchester City centre-back Stefan Savic during the January transfer window, according to The People.
Coach Luis Enrique has identified the 20-year-old as a replacement for Nicolas Burdisso, who has been ruled out for seven months with a knee ligament injury.
Savic only joined City during the summer so a six-month loan deal is thought to be the most likely outcome, rather than a permanent deal.
The Montenegrin has scored one goal for City.
