Manchester City winger Leroy Sane is allegedly not guaranteed to secure a move to Bayern Munich later in 2020.
With just over a year left on his contract, Sane may be allowed to depart the Etihad Stadium during the next transfer window as City look to avoid losing his services on a free transfer.
Despite the Germany international having sustained a serious knee injury last August, Bayern have been continually linked with an approach for the 24-year-old.
However, according to Goal, the Bundesliga leaders must take their finances into consideration before making an official approach.
The report indicates that the coronavirus pandemic will inevitably result in Bayern having to make cutbacks of some sort in the future.
That has effectively ruled out the possibility of a £100m bid being made for Sane, leaving City to reassess their valuation.
