Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial both train for Manchester United

Both Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial, who missed Saturday's Premier League match at Watford, train for Manchester United ahead of Wednesday's clash with PSV Eindhoven.

Manchester United could have both Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial available for Wednesday's Champions League clash against PSV Eindhoven at Old Trafford.

Rooney and Martial both missed Man United's 2-1 win over Watford at the weekend, with the former out ill and the latter struggling with an ankle problem that he picked up while representing France during the international break.

The two attackers were present at the club's training ground on Tuesday, however, fuelling suggestions that they will be fit to return for the European encounter.

Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera and Phil Jones all missed the session, meanwhile, and their absence is expected to be confirmed when Louis van Gaal addresses the media on Tuesday afternoon.

Man United currently sit top of Group B on seven points, one point ahead of second-placed PSV, while CSKA Moscow also have six points in third.
