Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Bournemouth

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's latest injury and suspension issues ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

Manchester United will be looking to make it four straight wins in all competitions when they continue their 2019-20 Premier League season at home to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils were hugely impressive in their 3-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday night, and the result saw them move to within two points of fourth-placed Chelsea in the table.

United are actually unbeaten in the league since a 2-0 reverse at home to Burnley on January 22, and they will be determined to put another three points on the board against the relegation-threatened Cherries.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the team's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Axel Tuanzebe

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: July 4 (vs. Bournemouth)

Tuanzebe has not featured for United since December, having been on the sidelines with a hamstring problem in the early stages of 2020. The Englishman did not recover from his latest issue in time for the Brighton clash, but there is a chance that he could make the bench for this weekend's contest.

Phil Jones

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: July 4 (vs. Bournemouth)

Jones has not featured for United since January, and United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed ahead of the Tottenham Hotspur game last month that the centre-back was carrying a knock. He has not been officially ruled out of Saturday's clash, though, and could therefore be involved in the squad.

MANCHESTER UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

United have no players suspended for the fixture with the Cherries.
