Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Liverpool.

Manchester United will be bidding to bounce back from Thursday's extraordinary defeat at Chelsea when they welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils led 3-2 against the Blues heading into the final stages of the clash at Stamford Bridge but conceded twice in the final moments to lose 4-3 in the capital.

Erik ten Hag's side sit nine points behind fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur and 11 from fourth-placed Aston Villa in the Premier League table, with their chances of claiming a Champions League spot for next season now very slim.

Raphael Varane

Varane was forced off at the interval of the clash with Chelsea due to another injury problem, and the ex-France international is therefore a major doubt for the clash with Liverpool this weekend.

Evans was passed fit for the clash against Chelsea after an injury issue, and he replaced Varane at the break of Thursday's game, but the experienced defender had to be substituted soon after, making him a major doubt for the contest with Jurgen Klopp's side.


Victor Lindelof
