Current Ajax manager Erik ten Hag had a Manchester United interview on Monday, according to a report.
The 52-year-old has been linked with the soon-to-be-vacant managerial position at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils looking for a permanent boss after Ralf Rangnick finishes his interim role this season.
Several coaches have been attached to the role, such as Paris Saint-Germain's Mauricio Pochettino, with the club hoping to get a deal agreed to prepare for the next campaign.
According to the Daily Mail, Ten Hag has actually had an interview with the Premier League outfit, and that has led to him becoming the bookies' favourite to take on the job.
However, the Red Devils are hoping to speak to other potential candidates such as Pochettino, Luis Enrique and Julen Lopetegui at some point soon.
Right now Manchester United are sixth in the Premier League, being four points away from the Champions League positions.
