Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has been ruled out of Saturday's pre-season fixture against Manchester United with a knee injury.
The German stopper has been used alongside youngsters Kamil Grabara and Caoimhin Kelleher by manager Jurgen Klopp for matches against Blackburn Rovers, Tranmere Rovers and for the club's International Champions Cup ties.
Manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed to Liverpool's official website, however, that Grabara and Kelleher will feature in Saturday's clash in Michigan in the absence of Karius.
"Loris has a little tendon problem in the knee," the coach said. "Nothing ruptured or something like that, it's more that it's inflamed so we'll have to see how that settles.
"It's not a big thing, but it's likely he will not play tomorrow. The two young boys will feature. It was nice for Caoimhin the other night, and Kamil will have an opportunity as well so it's good."
Karius is expected to become the club's second-choice goalkeeper when new signing Alisson Becker joins up with the squad.
