Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has insisted that he is not fighting with David de Gea over the number one spot at Old Trafford.
Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson has rotated both shot-stoppers on a number of occasions and Lindegaard has claimed that he fully 'trusts' the Scotsman's decisions.
"Whether I am playing or not is still a very open question," said Lindegaard. "Every time you play for United is an exam. It doesn't matter whether it is Champions League, Premier League or a training match.
"At this point I see David and my roles as co-workers rather than a number one and number two. He has his strengths and I have mine, and the gaffer is world class at picking the right teams and I trust in that and I accept his decision."
Both keepers are in contention for the starting XI in tomorrow night's Champions League group match against Galatasaray.
