Cardiff City's Malky Mackay: 'We don't fear Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney'

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay insists that the club do not fear Manchester United duo Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney.

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay has insisted that Manchester United duo Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney do not pose more of a threat than other strikeforce in the Premier League.

The pair are expected to start for the English champions when they travel to the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday.

"I don't see them as the toughest test, just a different test," Mackay said in a press conference. "In the Barclays Premier League there are so many great frontmen."

The Welsh outfit currently sit 14th in the table, while United reside fifth after 11 games.
