Swansea City midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has insisted that his club's winning goal over Manchester United belongs to Bafetimbi Gomis.
The Swans came from behind to beat Louis van Gaal's men at the Liberty Stadium, with the game's third and final goal coming as Gomis seemingly deflected Shelvey's long-range effort past a helpless David de Gea.
"I'd love to claim it but it has hit Gomis. If it doesn't hit him then it probably wouldn't have gone in," said Shelvey, according to BBC Sport.
"David De Gea is a world-class keeper so he probably would have saved my shot."
The victory sees Swansea complete their first ever double over United in the Premier League.
