Louis van Gaal hails Newcastle United's playing style

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal pays tribute to Newcastle United ahead of Wednesday's Premier League meeting at St James' Park.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal believes that Wednesday's Premier League clash against Newcastle United will be "a good game".

United make the trip to St James' Park currently sitting fourth in the table, with Liverpool closing in on the top four following a strong run of form.

However, Van Gaal has insisted that his team "shall win" against the Magpies.

"They always play with a very high rhythm, they want to give a lot of energy and the fans are supporting a lot," he told MUTV. "They want to play football – I like that. I hope it shall be a good game and we shall win."

Van Gaal, speaking at his pre-match press conference, has also insisted that Angel di Maria will come good for United following a disappointing run of form.
