Former Premier League manager Neil Warnock believes that Sir Alex Ferguson's presence at Manchester United is hindering manager David Moyes.
The Scotsman, who handed the reins over to Moyes when he announced his retirement at the end of last season, remains a director at Old Trafford.
Since Moyes's arrival at the North-West outfit, United have slumped to seventh in the Premier League table and have been knocked out of the FA Cup at the third-round stage by Swansea City.
"You've got Sir Alex Ferguson sitting in the stands and I don't think that helps," Warnock told talkSPORT.
United will take on Sunderland in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final on Tuesday.
