Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up in Sunday's pre-season clash with Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag is expected to select his strongest available XI for Sunday's pre-season contest with Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas.

The Red Devils suffered a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday, and they also lost talented midfielder Kobbie Mainoo to an ankle injury in the early stages of the match, with the 18-year-old heading back to England for treatment.

Amad Diallo was not involved against Real Madrid due to an ankle problem that he suffered in the recent win over Arsenal, but the Ivory Coast international could be back here.

Anthony Martial has also been back in training, as he recovers from a hamstring issue, and there is a chance that the Frenchman could be involved in this match.

Marcus Rashford is again expected to lead the line, with the club still waiting to bring in a centre-forward, but there could be changes in the final third, with Antony and Jadon Sancho potentially being recalled.

Christian Eriksen replaced Mainoo off the bench against Real Madrid and is an option to come into the midfield here, but Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes could drop back alongside Casemiro.

Andre Onana will make his second appearance for the club between the sticks, while the same back four should also remain in place, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka now seemingly ahead of Diogo Dalot in terms of the starting spot on the right side of the defence.

Jonny Evans will also be hoping to play more minutes at the back, having stayed with the first team following his involvement in the recent clash with Wrexham.

Manchester United possible starting lineup: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; Mount, Casemiro, Fernandes; Antony, Rashford, Sancho
