Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has insisted that the Red Devils squad would "fight to the death" in support of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Pressure is beginning to mount on the Norwegian as United's form has dipped dramatically following his permanent appointment, with just two league wins so far this season.

However, De Gea was unequivocal in his support of his boss, saying that the dressing room is fully behind the former Red Devils striker.

"[Solskjaer] is part of the family, he was here for many years as a player, he knows the club well and most importantly the whole team is behind him, we will fight to the death for him," De Gea told DAZN, via Goal.

"That is key, he is a good coach and we will be with him until the end."

United host Arsenal at Old Trafford next as they look to get their season back on track, with a Europa League game against AZ Alkmaar following soon after.
