Former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly begun taking English lessons as he eyes up the top job at Manchester United.
The 52-year-old has been out of work since leaving Juve at the end of last season after a successful spell that saw him win five Serie A titles and guide his team to the Champions League final on two occasions.
According to The Guardian, the Italian wants his next challenge to be in England and he was in attendance for Tottenham's stunning 7-2 defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
While United are believed to be happy with current boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at present, the report says that Allegri is on a two- or three-name shortlist of potential candidates to replace the Norwegian should circumstances change.
The Red Devils have had a mixed start to the season, winning just two of their opening seven Premier League games and only once since the opening weekend.
