Inter Milan will reportedly offer Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin to Manchester United in a bid to lure Javier Hernandez to the San Siro.
The Daily Star claims that the Nerazzurri are desperate to add firepower to their frontline and have identified the Mexican international as the potential target. New United boss Louis van Gaal, meanwhile, is said to be keeping tabs on the Colombian star after seeing his move for Arturo Vidal hit trouble.
Guarin is rumoured to have turned down moves to both Wolfsburg and Zenit St Petersburg this summer, while a switch to Serie A champions Juventus fell through in January.
Should Hernandez complete a move to the San Siro, he will join former teammate Nemanja Vidic, who left Old Trafford at the end of last season.
