Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly keeping a close eye on AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The Italian will see his current contract expire this summer and, with no deal agreed yet at the Serie A club, the 22-year-old is now considering his options.
football.london reports that Donnarumma's agent Mino Raiola has already held talks with both Manchester United and Chelsea about a possible free transfer to the Premier League.
AC Milan are believed to have offered the Italian number one a wage rise from £5m-a-season to £6.5m, however the keeper is understood to be wanting a deal worth around £8.5m.
Donnarumma would favour staying in his native Italy at the club he has been with since the age of 14, but if a deal cannot be agreed with Milan, then both United and Chelsea could battle it out for the highly-rated stopper.
Chelsea have spent big on goalkeepers in recent transfer windows, signing Kepa Arrizabalaga for a world-record £71m from Athletic Bilbao in 2018, before recruiting Edouard Mendy from Rennes for around £22m last summer.
Man United, meanwhile, have been linked with signing a new number one in recent months, with uncertainty over the futures of both David de Gea and Dean Henderson.
