Manchester United are yet to touch base with the agent of Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The La Liga champions have supposedly accepted that their 100-goal captain will leave in the summer, as he is in the final few months of his deal and is already free to negotiate a pre-contractual agreement with other clubs.
With United expected to be in the market for a new centre-back this summer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been tipped to swoop for the 34-year-old during the summer transfer window.
While the Red Devils continue to be credited with an interest, transfer expert Romano states that the 20-time English champions have not contacted Ramos's representative over a potential deal yet.
Having missed out on RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano, United are also thought to be looking at his teammate Ibrahima Konate and Sevilla's Jules Kounde as potential additions in defence.
Paris Saint-Germain are also understood to be in the race for Ramos, who is fighting to return from knee surgery in time to play again this season.
