Manchester United are reportedly weighing up an approach for AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek.
The Poland international, who has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, has scored five times in 19 appearances for his Italian club during the 2019-20 campaign.
United have been hit with the news that Marcus Rashford is facing an extended period on the sidelines with a back injury, leaving head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer desperately short of attacking options.
The 20-time English champions have until the end of January to bring in reinforcements, and according to The Athletic, Piatek has emerged as a target for the club.
The report claims that United are keen to sign the striker on loan, although Milan would only sanction a move if there is an obligation to buy at the end of the 2019-20 campaign for a figure in the region of £30m.
Piatek, who scored 19 times in 21 appearances for Genoa ahead of a switch to I Rossoneri, will see his current deal in Italy run until the summer of 2023.
