Manchester United are reportedly willing to offer Lucas Vazquez a lucrative contract to join the club on a free transfer this summer.
The 29-year-old has been an important player for Real Madrid during the 2020-21 campaign, contributing two goals and seven assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.
Vazquez's current deal at the Bernabeu is due to expire at the end of June, though, and it is understood that he has rejected the chance to pen an extension in the Spanish capital.
According to Sport, Madrid have offered the Spaniard a three-year contract but want him to take a 10% pay cut on his current salary due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
The report claims that Man United are 'willing to improve' the attacker's salary and are now preparing a lucrative package to tempt him into moving to Old Trafford.
Vazquez, who has also been strongly linked with Bayern Munich, has operated as both a right-back and a right-sided attacker for Zinedine Zidane's side this season.
