Manchester United are reportedly ready to slash their asking price for Memphis Depay in order to offload the winger in January.
Depay joined the Red Devils from PSV Eindhoven for £25m in the summer of 2015, but the 22-year-old failed to live up to expectations under Louis van Gaal and has fallen even further down the pecking order since Jose Mourinho's arrival at the club.
Everton are thought to be leading the race to sign the Netherlands international, and The Mirror reports that he could be available for as little as £12.5m - half the sum United paid for him.
United are willing to cut their losses on a number of Van Gaal's signings, with Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger also expected to leave Old Trafford next month.
Depay has made just one start for the Red Devils all season - in an EFL Cup victory over League One side Northampton Town - while he has been on the field for just 20 minutes in the Premier League this term.
